On August 12th Kobrin District witnessed the opening ceremony of the first Polesie shopping center attended by top town officials and the company management. Of the total 9000 sq.m area a three-storey trading premises account for 6000 sq.m where the shoppers can find deals on a variety of commodities including foodstuffs, electronics, garments, footwear, building materials and consumer goods. 200 qualified employees, panoramic elevators, the parking lot for 300 vehicles, convenient driveways and the company’s free shuttle buses ensure comfortable shopping even during rush hours.

The opening ceremony was followed by an entertainment program for adults and children. Everyone had fun playing games with clowns and participating in competitions. Kids amused themselves surfing the playground, riding mechanical ponies and taking pictures with clowns and giant dolls.

The afternoon festivities turned to the night gala performance by Polesie’s amateur artists as well as invited vocalists of Kobrin and Brest.

So it happened on August 12th - the first Polesie shopping center celebrated its first birthday. Many happy returns of the day!
